Getting there
By road
- when you get to Exeter – usually via the M4 or A303, its about another hour to Port Isaac.
- The A30 takes you into Cornwall, signposted to Bodmin.
- Turn onto the A395 at the Kennards House junction, and then continue to the junction with the A39.
- Turn left & after 1/2 mile turn right onto the B3314.
- After 8 miles this brings you to the turning for Port Isaac.
- Turn right onto the B3267, and continue for one mile into Port Isaac.
By Rail
- Trains to Bodmin Parkway on the main line from Paddington to Penzance are the most convenient (including a night sleeper). Its then 18miles to Port Isaac by road.
By Air
- There are cheap flights to Newquay Airport – 20 miles from Port Isaac
